| My Chloe got spayed about 2 months ago, can she be in Heat??? I'm sooooo confused, My baby got spayed about 2 months ago, but she's been acting weird, she's been humping my hubby's arm, and yesterday when we were al ready to go to bed, as he approached to kiss her good night as he always has, she was either growling or moaning, he thought it was funny, I'm soooo confused. PLEASE HELP! Chloe's Momma |

| If she was spayed, she can't be in heat. Humping is usually a dominance issue. I would try and stop the behavior before it gets out of hand. Also growling need to be stopped. Don't let her get away with bad behavior, she needs to know her place in your "pack". |

| I kind of wonder if it has something to do with spaying. When we first adopted Lolita she had just been spayed and she tried humping Laddy evry chance she got this. We would just tell her no bad and make her stop. After a few days it stopped. We did have a problem for a bit with all male dogs she came into contact with wanting to sniff her like she was in heat. I thought maybe they had a discharge for a bit that made the male think they were in heat. Dunno but hopefully with correction she will learn its unexceptable too.

| It would be IMPOSSIBLE for your pup to be in heat if she were spayed. During a spay the remove the reproductive organs of the female and the testicles of the male.
