| Beware of buying Yorkies from Farmers, Anderson, MO!!!!!!!! Here is my story dealing with the Farmers breeder from Anderson, MO. I bought the yorkies puppie and was delivered by plane to Raleigh, NC on 6/6. At first sight it was aware that she (the puppie) had something wrong with both eyes, both ears were infected and she had kennel cough and throat infection. Took her to the Vet on 6/8 and was given treatment and medicine for all that was wrong with her, that was over $350. I contacted the Farmers and told them of the medical problems that she had and they informed me that on 6/5 she was taken to their Vet and was given a clean bill of health and okay for to be tranported by plane the next day. They have done nothing at all either by cost or heart felt concern for her. Has anyone else had problems with this breeder, please contact me as soon as possible. |

| I took a look at the website and it is very vague. They have one puppy for sale right now and she is totally posed, no mention of parents and a questionable guarantee. Just chalk it up to an lesson learned. Hope your pup is feeling better and you post some pictures very soon. Welcome to YT!

| That is so sad. I'm glad that this puppy at least went to someone who was willing to take care of her.

| Yep, we, here in central USA, are notorious for our puppy mills. We supply the world. May your little one be of good health in the near future. I have a mill doggie and it is a tough road to travel.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | They have two websites.... Yorkie Puppies For Sale. Tiny Miniture Yorkie, Tea Cup Yorkie Puppy Royal Yorkies Yorkshire Terriers I looked them up on the USDA breeder's list...they aren't on the list. Their health guarantee is cruddy...as in there really isn't one. I doubt you will receive anything from the breeder themselves...although you could try suing her in court.

| So sorry this has happened to you. Yes there are a lot of puppy mills in Missouri unfortunately. We do have some really good breeders here to but because of these other places it seems we don't get to hear a lot about them. Our first little yorkie Laddy came from one of those horrible places also as we at the time were very uneducated about such places. Thank God he is now 8 months old and is in great health. I hope you are as fortunate with your baby once you get him healthy initially.

| I have been to the Farmer's place before and it was very clean and they had some great looking Yorkies. I have seen their website but they don't always have the best looking pups there but they are priced accordingly and some of them are really cute. I haven't seen the other website that was mentioned, I'll have to check it out. I have no opinion about the guarantee but at least they do have one. I know some people that have bought Yorkies from them and they were perfect little puppies, I was just looking when I stumbled upon them and its been more then a year since I was there. It didn't look like a puppymill to me. Sorry to hear about this posters problem with them. I offered her to go drive by their place next time I am out that way as they are about 30 minutes away and I sometimes go that way when going into Oklahoma or Arkansas. |

| It's odd that there is two websites. Is that common for breeders to have two?
