| She LOVES to pee on my clean carpets - ugh! I just steam cleaned my carpets and my dog pees on it the very next day! Not only did she pee (twice so far...) but she also pooped! I used the Nature's Miracle Pet Urine sollution and it really turned out nice! How can I train my Beanie to STOP peeing on my carpets? Help!

| I had this happen , I wish I could find the thread, my dog was totally pee pad trained, here and there it went off the sides so I had my carpet cleaned. What I found out from a trainer is that the cleaner they used has amonia in it, it is an attractant... so she peed every where , I got 2 bottles of natures miracle sprayed the rugs everywhere!!

| My dog did this once.We called my aunt ( she is very dog savy ) and said that the carpets didnt smell like us anymore or him for that matter so he got really upset and started peeing/pooping all over them. Oh boy was that annoying. Then we used viniger all on the carpet so she wouldnt pee there anymore. It workied too

| Yes I wish I had know about the ammonia in carpet cleaner. I had the same problem. I used white vinegar all over the carpets in the carpet cleaner and it seemed to work. My carpet is light tan so i didn't notice any color change.

| I didnt do my carpets again , just got a gallon of Natures miracle I soaked my rugs , went out for a couple hours till they dried, opened all my windows and it worked.... The dog trainer told me he has heard this story a million times, people dont ask about the cleaner they purchase and when they do it always says amonia.... I just had my rugs cleaned again. I used a company which is " green" it contains nothing harmful to animals or children its all natural and it had no effect on her at all... I would highly recommend spraying your rug with natures miracle again , really spray them good all the corners under things jsut to get the cleaning product smell away... I hate the smell of vinegar so that was not an option.

| White Vinegar is the best. It kills the odor. Never used in while steaming the carpets, but will try this tomorrow. |

| Does the vinegar smell eventually go away? Do I dilute the vinegar? Do I mix it with the Nature's Miracle? I'm desparate so I want to try it ALL!

| Do not mix the vinegar and the natures miracle. If you are cleaning the whole carpet then you can dilute the vinegar with water about half and half. If just treating a stain I use it full strength. Absorb as much pee as possible then pour the vinegar on the spot and blot it up with a clean towel until almost dry. The vinegar smell doesn't last long at all.
