| I Heard It: Am I Nuts Maxwell was doing one of his morning stretches with his legs out long and back legs down, and dragging the back legs. You know when you stretch and noises come out of their mouth or ours when we stretch~? All of a sudden in the midst of that I heard what sounded like in human words: hello. Am I nuts or what~? Have you all ever heard that with your Yorkies~? |

| I've never heard it with yorkies... but... my sister's Scottish Terrier used to talk... I remember I was visitiing her and her dog looks at me and clear as day says "Hello". My sister and her son just sat there like it was an everyday occurance... evidently... he knew other words which he would speak when he woke up in the mornings.... Freaky!!

| My babies don't do this but my grandaughter taught her little chi to say mama. It sounds just like a baby saying it.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | My Gellica says "out" - clear as a bell - when she wants to go out. It's so funny, people hear her over the phone and actually think it's a human talking. She says "I love you" too, but it's not as clear - we are still working on it!

| My Fancy used to say, "Mama". She had really good control of her mouth. I think it is definitely rare. She was my one that used to smile back when I smiled at her. I don't think it is crazy, just rare.
