| Water in puppys ears.. We gave Sprinkles a shower and ever since he has been flipping and flaping in carpet , rubbing his ears on carpet...we put cotton before giving him shower but a few drops might have gone through... I read using a few drops of Listerine helps kills bacteria and alcohol in it drys the water.. if not whats the best solution for removing water , wax and cleaning my babys ears ? |

| They make ear cleaning solutions for them. Just fill the ear canal and rub them at the base of the ear before cleaning then clean them out with cotton balls. I would also have him checked for ear mites if he is doing a lot of rubbing and clawing at them.

| Besides buying a solution, my vet told me I could make one. She said use equal amounts of water, rubbing alcohol and white vinegar. After bathing she told me to wet a cotton ball with the solution and drop some in her ear. The alcohol will dry up extra water and the vinegar will help kill any bacteria. |
