| Wow. One, I would not leave Scooter in my car while I ran in to get a drink or eat dinner, EVER! Two, she is lucky that animal control has not seized the dog for doing that. Three, she is even luckier that her baby was returned unharmed, or at least I hope so. Geez, what was she thinking?!?!?!

| The sad/scary thing about stories like this is that they encourage other scum bags to go out and do the same thing to make a quick buck, or a quick $10,000. There needs to be more stories about these low life thieves getting caught and going to jail, so that it might deter would-be thieves from committing the same type of crime

| I am from Concord CA. It is unbelievable that anyone would leave their beloved pet in a car , then go out and eat! That woman learned a hard lesson! She's lucky to have her yorkie back, and her car not stolen! Bet she won't ever be doing that again!

| That's ridiculous. Sorry, but I don't buy it. Looks totally fabricated to me (God knows ppl do all sort of crap for their 15mins of fame). This lady don't even look like she's ever seen 10,000 in her life (sorry for being such a brat). She should be ashamed of even admitting to leaving the poor dog in her car while she ATE...ATE! Do you know how long it takes to get seated, order your meal, get served, eta, and then wait for the bill! Maybe the person who smashed the window was trying to save the poor pooch! |

| it seems like she was waiting for the dog to get nabbed. She went inside for dinner and parked where she couldnt even see her car!!! ...in the back of the restaraunt! THat $10,000 got her, her baby back though. I do believe the story GuccisMom because people do stupid things and think "It cant happen to me?" Also don't judge a book by it's cover! Millionares walk around everyday but don't boast or show off their money. Bill Gates doesnt dress like he is rich... but he is.... Also people will do ANYTHING for their pets just like they are their children. She has the money so she used it to get her baby back..... anybody else wouldnt have gotten that dog back... |

What I'm getting at is that regardless of how much a rich person doesn't boast their money, it's still evident. Don't get me wrong. I'd give the clothes off my back for Gucci. BUT, I certainly wouldn't have started a reward for a lost dog at 10,000. I'd start maybe with 500 and increase as I go if I get no lead. You will still get calls with a 500 reward I guarantee you. | |

| I live in NorCal and these kinds of things are very popular with small dogs. I try to keep an eye on my boys as much as possible! I have left them in the car, while I've run inside of somewhere, but I could see them the whole time. She was in a restaurant for what was probably a long time since Elephant Bar can be pretty busy! |

Reading the article , it did not surprise me one bit. What shocked the crap out of me , was the owner being so dumb to leave her beloved yorkie in the car alone in the first place! That was just asking for trouble! Money is no object to some people who can afford to offer a high reward for a missing/stolen pet. She knew that raising the stakes high, would certainly get her yorkie back! I would do it in a heartbeat, if god forbid my baby Suzi went missing/stolen.
