| I use a comb as well. I've also read on here where someone suggested a eyelash comb so that may be something you can try. Its nice and small.

| I clean faces everyday and not all of my yorkies are receptive to this procedure either!!!! Faces and butt checks are important, no eye boogers or dangles in my house.... But I use washcloths and a small comb as well and this has worked very well for me.

| Tooth brush sounds great! I'm not sure I've seen an eyelash brush before.

| i use a toothbrush to clean and my b/f wear contacts so i use his cleaning soultions to clean his eyes. it has boric acid in it and i read on yt its good for cleaning. 1st i take a warm cloth to moisten the boogies. then i pour the contact cleaning soultion on the toothbrush(not directly on or in the eyes) to clean. so far works really good.

| I use a tear-stain cleaning solution (I think the one I have is Four Paws Crystal Eyes) first - wipe it on with a cotton pad - and then the flea comb to get it off the hair. Maybe you don't need the tear-stain stuff but it's good because it moistens the dry eye boogers enough to get the comb through easily. A wet rag would do the same without the "tear-stain cleaning agent". The eyebrow comb is a really great idea too!

I use a toothbrush too. We keep it in the "Pet supply drawer" but for some reason my boyfriend is petrified that he is going to get his toothbrush mixed up with the eye-booger toothbrush. I should switch them as a practical joke. Just kidding!

| I use a few drops of Visene Tears (not the red eye one) to soften anything that may have dried, then I comb them out with the brush side of an eyebrow brush. I do this once a day. I also use an eyebrow brush to groom her entire face and to help gather up her hair for a topknot. It works espcially well with smaller yorkies. |
