| I have a male & female yorkie. They were both fixed at the beginning of May. Buster (our boy) was bouncing around & back to normal that night (although we had to work really hard to not let him play too hard). Bailey, our girl, started peeing in their crate a couple of days after we brought them home, and she woke up at night every 30 minutes to pee one night, so I took her to the vet the next day. They said that she had a urinary tract infection & gave Bailey some antibiotics and additional pain medication. It took her about a week to get back to a normal potty schedule. You should probably call your vet to see if you need to bring your guy back in, because it could be an infection of some sort. Better safe then sorry. Good luck & I hope he gets better soon!

| It may be a urinary infection, you should call the vet and ask. Welcome to YT!

Thor's Human Donating Member | I've heard of many dogs that get thrown off course for a bit after being neutered. It's understandable if you think about it. It might be a good idea to follow up with the vet just to make sure it's not an infection. He should be back to normal within a week or two.

| He could be regressing on his training or it could be a UTI . I have heard of both after neutering. If it keeps up I would have him vet checked
