| Well I know she won't reach the bottom but this is my first dog so I don't know if they ALL know how to swim. I would be in the pool with her but I don't know if it would affect her in anyway like the water or something I don't know LOL!!!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | How much does she weigh and what's the water temperature of the pool? Fraizer is under 4 pounds and our pool is too cold for him....even when the temp outside is 98 degrees.

| My Coral can swim, and seems to like it at times. I wanted her to know how to get out of the pool when we first got her, just in case she snuck by me one day and fell in. So i just walked in holding her and showed her where she need to go to get out. It was a good thing i did because a few week later my big dog was in the pool and she thought it looked like fun so she jumped in to get him. We were outside with them, but it was nice to she see that she knew where the steps were so she could get out by herself!

| She is maybe now 5lbs. Water temp is maybe really cold because its not warm out yet. But I would wait until mid July to try it out LOL!!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I introduced all mine to the pool by letting them ride boogie boards. Now when I'm in the pool...they beg to ride their boards.

| I think for the most part, they all know how to swim. Some even like it- my 3 HATE it!

| I have let mine swim in the pool before in the middle of the summer when its warmer. I put life vests on them though. Also we have a waterpark we go to and on the last day they are open they let you bring your dogs so they have been in their wave pool before

| We took R.J. to the river last weekend and he loved the water! He can even swim! When I was a kid we had two poodles we would take to the lake. One was a great swimmer, the other would sink like a rock. Guess it just depends on the dog. For water that deep I would get a doggie lifejacket

| I had my family reunion this past august at my parents house, with a pretty large in ground pool in our backyard....i had fiona down there with all of us, i turned around, and then she literally jumped in her self, thank god my cousin was in the pool and grabbed her out...i think that taught her, because now the pool is open, and she wont even come close to it!!!!!

| I let Jackson swim in our pool with us... he's 14lbs though. I'll pick him up and put him in. The first time I did it, he immediately began paddling and swimming like crazy lol. It's instinctual to dogs. He doesn't really like it though, he prefers to lounge on the step and lay in the water lol
