| Panting heavily at times My two year old yorkie, Boobah has started to pant heavily at night, as though she is trying to get her breath. This is when she is sleeping. But in the morning I wake up and she is not panting and sleeping normally. I have opened the windows here since it gets warm at times at night What do you think of this situation? Thanks.

| I wonder if she has some kind of allergies (pollen, trees, something!) ?? They can develop them out of the blue. Definitely get her checked by the vet as soon as you can, any breathing problems should be assessed by the vet. Is that her in you avatar? What a face SO pretty!

| I would watch Boodah. Sometimes panting means they are in pain. I would call your vet if this continues. LRod |
