| Floppy Ears? We have an 11 week old Yorkie and her ears are floppy. The lady we bought her from said if we wanted them to stand up we could tape them. I have noticed them starting to perk up a bit on their own. My question is...how long should we wait before we try to tape them and how do we do it? |

| Just get the tips of the ears shaved and they will probably pop up on their own. My pup's ears were down at 13 weeks, but soon as I got the ear tips shaved they came up within 3 or 4 days. Good Luck Cathy, mom to Sergeant |

| What do you mean by shave? Do I take her to a groomer or is it surgical? |

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | if you have an electric trimmer you can shave the hair off the ears both inside and outside of the ear leather...no there is no need for surgery...it is like shaving your legs or face...hehe

| Madison's started going up at 12 weeks, and were fully up by 14 weeks. I would probably give it a couple more weeks and see what happens.
