| Female Yorkie Names Okay I named my new puppy Trixee and EVERYONE hates it. I am looking for suggestions. I was a HUGE Speed Racer fan back in the 70's LOL. Showing my age. TIA

| Ok, I happen to think Trixee is a great name! If you like it and it fits her, then I'd just be telling people to mind their own business. Of course we could better give advice if we had a picture or two of your little girl.

| Well I think it is so cute. As well as the spelling. I don't usually go for unusual spellings but I love the name Trixee and in this case, I also love the way you spelled it! Cuter than just Trixy .. but spelled either way they are both cute. I really like it! We have a newborn puppy my husband and little boy named Macho. My grown daughter hates it but .. oh well you know everyone has an opinion and can't please everyone LOL Your dog - you name it! It's a fresh, chic happy sounding name! |

| I love the name Trixee, and think it is so original!! Also reminds me of Jackie Gleason show, Trixie was Art Carney's wife (now I am really showing my age!). You go with your gut and who cares what others think.

| Trixee is a very cute, but let me tell you about my "Apple"...Some ppl loved it, and some of my friends absolutely hated it...I tried to change her name, several times, and nothing seemed to fit....it's 4 months later, and I can't even imagine her name being anything other than Apple....I love it!....Go w/your gut feeling...it's your baby....they'll get used to it...However, if you like racing, Danica Patrick is real hot, right now, so you could name your pup, Dannie......lol.... | Trixee is a wonderful name for a yorkie...I sure wouldn't change it to make others happy. My friends don't care for my yorkie's name either...(Muffin), but I told them I didn't remember asking THEIR opinion of MY dog's name! That shut them up quick. |
