| Yorkie bedroom Ok just wondering if anyone has a bedroom set up for their yorkie. I have this alcove off my bedroom and I want to turn it into a space for Laya. I am having a very hard time trying to decide how to decorate it. It is just a small space about 6 feet by 8 feet. I want to make it cute and special for her. Any suggestions on colors or designs. Right now the walls are white so color options are wide open There is carpet in there but i was thinking some other floor covering might be better. Please I am open to any ideas. Themes? HELP LOL

| We use one of our spare bedrooms as the "kids" room, but we haven't had a chance to decorate it just for them yet. I think that's a great idea! Personally, since you have just one girl, I would make it a pretty pink princess room. However, I'm obsessed with pink, and I know it doesn't suit everyone!

| Sounds cute, but my pups think my bedroom is theirs. I would be wasting my money decorating a space for them. Once you do this, be sure to post pics!!

| If I didn't have a DH my kids would have their own room too. I really like the idea of them having a room that is totally designed around their needs and safety. Please do post pictures once you get it finished.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Mine is nothing fancy. I have a huge living room so I moved all my dining room funiture in there and gave my yorkies my dining room. I have a doggy door so they can go in and out at night I lock it. They seem to love it. I was having trouble potty training so this has really helped. With 6 I was finding surprises everywhere.

| I have one!!! It used to be a walk-in closet and a hallway linen closet. We knocked down the wall to the linen closet and closed the opening to the closet and had ourselves about a 5 x 8 room. It was alot of thing before it became the room for our Yorkies.( At the time we had two, we have on now but I dont think that will last very long) I havent decorated it but we did put shelves high up for sheets and linens. |

| Thank you so much for all the ideas. I'm really excited to get started. I like the paw print idea. I'll keep you posted as I go. LOL I'm awful at decorating, but I'll do my best.
