| Daisy's Fur (A Disaster) Daisy is 5 months and into everything, but that is not the number one concern right now. I am new to the Yorkie world and really clueless on care of the Yorkie coat. Her coat is not silky, is not very long, and knotted towards the end of the coat. I have tried combing/brushing, using shampoo/conditioner,blow-drying, and snipping out the knots. Nothing seems to help. What am I doing wrong? What can I do to make this less frustrating? The knots are just ugly. What can I do? Thanks, DaisyMae

| It sounds like your experiencing what I went through with Mia. Her coat was really cottony and thick and very knotted. I was shown how to remove the knots. I am not sure if I can write an understandable description. How old is your dog? I know I looked forward to Mia having all of her shots so I could get her groomed. It does get easier with time. Any possibility you can post a picture? |
