| First Agility Class Daisy was great at the agility class! There was one other toy breed there, a long-haired dachshund named Moxie (good name for a boy Yorkie I thought). Then 2 goldens, a German shepherd and two Australian shepherds. Of all the dogs she was the most eager. We started with the tunnel which is of course much less intimidating for a little dog. Then the jumps, six inches high for the toy dogs (mine jumps up on the BACK of the couch at home) which she hardly noticed at all. She balked a little the first time on the A-frame type thing but then ran up and down it really fast. What I learned about my dog is that she will do anything for a piece of hot dog, a nasty junk food imo that we don't keep at home. The teacher was calling her the class star and wanted to keep her. Great fun, I can't wait to go do some practice sessions with her. Makes me glad she is a sturdy little teapot, weighed in today at 8 pounds 12 ounces at nine months old. When she starts running the course I will try to get a video.
