| A bark collar that doesn't hurt your yorkie! Hi All, I am not sure how many of you have "barkers", but I do (or did, I should say!). About 2 weeks ago, I purchased a citronella bark collar for Stomper. I would only put it on him in the evening and in the morning while I was home. When he started barking continuously it would spray citronella up by his nose. It doesn't actually spray on the dog but right in front of it. The sound and smell some how shock the dog a bit. Well...Stomper is getting SO much better with his barking. Now, the barking is minimal and does not even bother me. It does bother me when I put it on, but I have realized I need to do this to train him right. Before I purchased it, I priced around all over the place. It went from $61.58 to $129.00 PLUS tax at various places for the SAME EXACTproduct. This is the cheapest one I found and I am very happy with it. Note that the dog must be at least 6 pounds to use it. http://www.countrysidepet.com/level.itml/icOid/2091

| Wow!! How strange!!! Very interesting! My dogs are too small, but maybe I can spray some over the fence at my neighbor's dog - just kidding!! I'm glad you found this - I bet it will be really helpful for people. It doesn't seem like there are a lot of options that really work without hurting the dog...

| I have a 35lb Sheltie that is a barker but wasn't willing to pay the $150 at PetSmart for a citronella collar! (I've tried everything else to no avail, but he HATES perfume, room sprays and such) For half that, I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for turning me on to the site!
