| Mad at Me? I had to go on a business trip this week. I was gone from Monday morning until Wednesday night. When I got home, Ramsey greeted me, but not very enthusiastically. He and DH went to bed while I stayed up and watched the finale of Lost. When I went to bed, DH reached over and put Ramsey on my side (where he usually sleeps). He promptly got up and went back over to DH's side. During the night he usually comes up and sleeps on my pillow, right next to my head. He didn't do that last night. After DH got up, he came up and slept on HIS pillow, away from me. Then, when I came home tonight his greeting was just to walk up to me and lay in my arms when I picked him up. It hit me that he might be giving me the 'cold shoulder' for leaving him. He seems better now. He's curled up beside me on the couch, sleeping. I just wondered if anyone else's Yorkie acts like this if they've been away. |

| Yes, they can keep a grudge lol.. Mimi does that sometimes when I come home late. She usually takes all my clothes that I leave on the chair(I'm so lazy to walk 2 feet to the closet lol) and she drags all of them down. Then she will go in her crate and not come out till i lure her with a treat. I love when they play hard to get lol lil stinkers.. Your furbaby probably just got used to more of your DH then you while you were gone. just spend more time and I'm sure your baby will be back to normal lol

| What did your DH do to your Ramsey? I am only kidding> Your baby will come around . I think maybe he just spent more time with Dad the last couple of days. Give him a few treats, and lots of extra petting. my Suzi has not done this to me yet, however, she does ignore me every time someone comes over to visit. You see they are coming over to see her ! not us! LOL

| Oh that's so funny. Reminds me of when I went to two trade shows back to back in vegas a while back with my boyfriend, we were gone for more than a week, as Uni stayed with grandma. I missed her so much, and when we finally came home, she was on the back of the sofa, looking at us tail waggin like crazy, but ears all back, head almost all the way down. She looked like "omg is that really mommy and daddy come back?!!!" she did not run to us, we had to walk up to her and pick her up and talk to her saying it was us, and petting her all over. I swear she thought we had abandoned her. It's like something Brain the dog said from Family Guy, when you leave I don't know when you're coming back, or if you'll ever come back, and all I can think of is when you get back. Or something like that. : )

| Dogs are just opportunistic creatures. Your husband has been the resource provider all week and your dog just wants to stay closest to the resource provider. That's all there really is to it, no grudges, just survival instincts. |

| Well, he seems to have forgiven me. He slept by me part of the night and then curled up with me after DH left for work. |

| Good to hear he's cuddling with you again. After spending a whole afternoon working in the garden, Johnny was distant with me too. He usually cuddles next to me whenever I sit down but not that night. He stayed curled up on the other sofa when I watched TV. I missed his little body next to mine. I think he was mad at me-maybe because his "routine" was broken
