| Changing her name.... I need some opinions.... Cleo is a little more tahn 5 months, and we have had her since she was 8 or 9 weeks and i have been calling her Cleo since. But now i think i want to change her name to Coral. The problem with cleo is that my other dog is Lilo. They sound very similar and Lilo gets confused sometimes shen i call Cleo. Cleo doesn't really respond to her name, she responds to all the dogs names! I didn't think about how similar they sounded until i started calling them and now it seems neither one has their own name. It comes out Clelo or Leo, but never Lilo and Cleo. What do you guys think....is it too late to change her name to Coral?

| She could learn it very quickly! We rescued a dog who was over a year and changed his name and he is already learning it after a few days

| I think if you change her name now it will not be a problem, dogs adjust well and she will learn it quick.

| I got Tater when he was 9 months old and he got used to his new name very quickly. CoCo was 2.5 years old and was unsure if she had a name previously but she picked up her name very quickly as well. I think you will be OK! Coral is a cute name. |

| I got Annie at 4 1/2 yrs old and changed her name. She picked up on it right away. Same with Boo, he was 4 yrs old and learned his new name in just a few days.

| You should be able to change her name without any problems. I did greyhound rescue for years and when we got the greyhounds off the racetrack and adopted them out most everyone changed their names.
