| I finally got the nerve to cut his nails.... And it wasn't bad. I was so afraid to do it because he hates it and squirms so bad, so what I did was give him a bath on Saturday and cut his nails in the sink. It made it so much easier! You can see the nails since the hair on the feet are wet and they get soft from the bath. Also to my surprise he just stood there and let me do it! So for those afraid to do it maybe you can do it in the bath. YEAH! Now we never have to step foot into a groomers again!

Congrats. I've tried doing mine before and she just won't stand still. So I just take her in to have it done.

| I use to be afraid to cut my dogs nails too. But the groomers kept cutting their nails too short and making them bleed so I was forced to learn. I went out and bought a really good nail clipper and just did it. I've not made them bleed once so far! It's so easy to do that I wish I would have learned earlier.

| Good for you, Carolyn! You have a right to feel good about never having to go to a groomer!
