| People just do not understand! So just a few minutes ago, one of my co-workers walks by my desk and goes ( rudely ) "How can you sit and read about yorkie s**t all day!" Uhhhhmmmm , first of all jerkface, I am an avid animal lover and will read what i want.. second of all, all these people on YT are far more interesting and caring than you could ever be... maybe I am over reacting, but I would much rather talk to and socialized with all of you YT members than some of the people in my office at times LoL Why are people such jerks!! |

| Some people don't understand a passion... My husband jokes about how much I am on YT, but I don't mind because he just does not understand. A lot of people do not know how much we love our babies... they say "he's just a dog!" Don't worry, they are the ones missing out

| YORKIES RULE!!!!! I think this website is addicting, and a great get away from everything else. I agree with you. We are all here for each other if we need something. Don't you just love the videos and pictures too! I laugh so much at some of those cute babies. They don't understand, and it does not even matter!! How do you like living in Japan? Do you read Japanese or speak it? Just wondering.... Have a good day, don't let the mean people get you down! |

| This person sounds like they'd be rude regardless of what you were doing. It's an unfortunate fact of life, some people just have to be rude and put others down to make themselves look/feel better. Give them the attention that they deserve...which is none.

Eek...I understand your love of Yorkies and this site but perhaps your co-worker was expressing some frustration at your work performance. Are you carrying your weight around the office and doing the job for which you are being paid? Just taking a more objective view since I have been in your co-worker's place before where I had to do my job and the rest of us had to pick up a co-worker's slack because she was doing other things on "company" time like planning a wedding or building a house, etc. It could be that it's not a Yorkie thing at all but rather an attempt to get you to start carrying your weight in the office! For that particular language to be used in the work place, your co-worker sounds as though she had reached a point of frustration. I'm not judging you and I certainly don't know your situation but I am trying to give you a larger picture of what may be happening. It is unfair to those who work with you for you not to do the job for which you were hired. If your particular job should be evaluated and rated, could this observation of your time on the internet site while at work be a problem for you? I have also seen instances where a co-worker might say such a thing in an attempt to help someone. For instance, if there is "water cooler" talk about the time you spend on non-work-related things, maybe she was just trying to give you a heads-up before you do get in trouble with the boss. I don't know your occupation nor your age nor your circumstances but I have retired from 30 years of work and (unfortunately sometimes) worked with all kinds. She may actually be trying to help you tone down the off-task time before you get in trouble. She may only be trying to make you aware of what others are saying/observing. Just a thought... | |

| You might want to ask her why she is so interested in what you're doing in the first place? She should mind her own business. |

| This type of person I find, are sad and lonely even if they won't admit it. And they have no passion in their lives. They are just saaaaad people.

| Before this gets out of hand... For the poster above and anyone else that reads this.. the time that i am spending surfing the web is WELL DESERVED.. when I am on the web at work it is because i have completed all of my daily tasks and often some extra tasks thrown in. I am not a lazy person who depends on others to do my job for me while i surf YT. I am not being defensive... just letting people know. People including my boss are well aware of my "YT addiction" lol and are completly fine with it.. because i DO get my work done and pull my weight. this jerkface just had to open his mouth because he obviously has nothing to occupy HIS time. I am all for " if you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all"... that is all lol
