| OMG Some People Ok, so I had to go out for the day and I was going to be gone all day so I took Cookie with me. I had to pick my boys up from their grandma and then take them to get haircuts. After that we had two different baseball practices that were going to last 4 hours total. There was no way she could last all day alone. I left my house at 11am and got back at like 5:30pm. While i was getting the boys hair cut I over heard some women talking about Cookie. At first I didn't think anything of it because people do it all of the time but then I heard them say "Oh, that poor dog" Like I was mistreating her by having her in her little bag with her toys and treats. She has no idea how I treat my babies. I was so angry but I didn't say anything because I try not to get into arguments when my kids are with me. I'm trying to teach them to turn the other cheek. Now I'm on here venting and letting out my frustrations. Thanks for listening.

| Some people would rather leave their dogs at home in a crate than take them with them somewhere. I wouldn't worry about what people say. Some people are ignorant.

| ergh Some people are so rude, and its crazy because they comment on something they have NO clue to whats really going on!! Who cares what those people think YOU know that you are a great mom and your furbaby is well taking care of. You know she would rather be with you in her crate than at home with out you I wish peanut would sit in a carrier like she does, he would be able to go more places with me He HATES those carriers and I tried all of them. I dont know why he hates them sooo much, he acts like someone is killing him when i put him in there..maybe because I never made him stay in one, I just always carried him I was at best buy the other day with peanut and my dh (yes little yorkies are allowed in best buy, add to my list) we were looking at cameras and people were just looking and looking at me like I had some type of monster in my arms!! All I heard were little snickers from people. It was frustrating, but I just ignored them. Its not my fault peanut is spoiled and LOVES to go places with mommy and daddy!!!

| Some people are rude. Your right, sometimes it is best just to ignore them. We cannot waste our time explaining ourselves to people every day. I think some people stereotype people who put their pets in carriers. They assume we see our dogs as accessories and not living creatures. |

| Its hard even my mom asks why I have to take her places with me. She tells me she is just a dog and she can be alone. I understand they are dogs but they don't like being alone, they get attached and it is hard on them. what is the harm in taking them with us. it isn't hurting thme and it probably makes for more bonding. Thanks everyone for being so supportive. This is a great site. I'm so glad I found it.

| Agree, it's nobody's business but your own...you do what you feel is right for your dog and be proud of it.

| I have to say there are some days when my mouth gets ahead of my brain and I talk before I think. I do try hard though. But it sounds to me like you would have made a great mom.

| The other day I had Maddy with me outside of Target. She was wearing a little hoodie and her harness. One man walked by with his young (12 years old maybe?) daughter and said to her "That DOG is more spoiled that you are". Some one else came out and "whispered" loudly that dogs dont need to be dressed like humans. Blah blah blah. |

| Well done for rising above it and holding your tongue - I doubt I could have! Some people are just so rude! They've obviously never heard the saying 'If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all' Good for you for setting a good example to your children
