| My two are on a strict time schedule for eating. They're about 3lbs and they eat a 1/4 cup twice a day. 10:30 and 5:30. I called the dog food maker and asked how much they needed according to their weight. I feed them Royal Canin for puppies. Each food is different, it all depends on their calorie requirements. I had the formula but it was too mind numbing to figure out. That's why I called the 800# on their bag. Good luck!

| Jackson's 6 months old. I generally will give him his breakfast around 8:30-9am. I mix in some wet food with his dry food, he sits, I place the bowl down and he chows down! lol. The bowl stays empty until about noon, when I fill up his bowl again with just dry food and he generally won't go over to eat any of it until between 4-6pm. He nibbles on some, and then finishes the bowl around 7-8pm. Then he gets let out to potty at night around 8:30-9:30pm and bedtime around 10-11!

| I feed just once a day. When Zoe turned about 1.5 years old, she started refusing to eat her breakfast meal, so I stopped feeding it. I do sometimes give her a treat in the am though. |

| I free feed Apple, dry food (Innova Puppy) and she sets her own schedule, which happens to be about 6 a.m. when we get up, and about 8 a.m. in the evening...if I'm home, she eats a few spinach leaves and blueberries, whenever I'm having some...I use to worry she wasn't eating enough, but she seems a good weight, so I guess she lets nature take it's course, and follows it...Having said that, I wonder, if I decide to get her spayed, if she will be so disciplined? | I free feed my 6 month old puppy. I was afraid she wasn't going to get enough to eat. She is only 3 pounds and has been spayed already. It takes her about 3-4 days to finish a 2 cup bowl of food. She does get treats during training through the day but not too many.

| Missy eats 3-4 times a day. I homecook for her and I basically free feed. Everytime I see her start nibbling on my pug's kibble, I warm her up a little food. She likes to eat small amounts, several times a day. She is 8 months old and 3 lbs.

| Leo is 10 weeks now ... I feed him once a day and he eats at his own choosing ... if he eats it all I give him more ... he's a good size boy though .. he weighs 2.12 lbs ... he doesn't feel heavy or thin ... so I'll do this as long as it's working ... will change if I need to.
