| They ate my new sunglasses!!! I wont pay more than $15 for sunglasses because I always loose them or sit on them and break them, but never thought this would happen- I bought a new pair last week that were super cute from target and left them on the kitchen table. Well I got home today and found the frames destroyed by the dogs. 8 hours later and we finally found then lens(I was soooooo afraid one of the dogs ate them). I am so sad. I guess I will have to go buy another pair. Maybe I should buy an eyeglasses case as well .

| I am like you on the cheap sunglasses but at the beginning of the summer my oldest wanted these expensive Diors and she convinced me to buy some Michale Kohrs so I did. I got to wear them for about a month when my 17 year old "borrowed them" when she went river rafting, fell off the raft and lost them. I am back to $10 sunglasses.!!!! |

| The only time I purchased expensive sunglasses, I went on a raft that my brother was pulling behind his boat (I know "Stupid") but he said he would go slow, Yeah RIght! GONE within 2 seconds! My bell use to do that all the time to my reading glasses. Only mine! She would rip them apart. Well, at least the pups didn't eat something that could have hurt them.

| AHHHHHHH I see you guys haven't learned the trick of getting expensive sunglasses....LOL I buy mine from Pearle Vision. You can pick out ANY gorgeous designer you want and have the lenses tinted any color and darkness you choose. So OK, maybe expensive at first, but cheap in the long run for a designer choice. You pay the extra $25 for the guarantee plan and if they are broke or scratch or even chewed up by the dog, you pay 10 percent of the origianal cost of glasses and get a free new pair. This is good for 1 year and for the 2nd year you pay ... I think it was 20 percent. My DKNY fabulous sunglasses were $350 plus they had a special going which let you pick any pair in the store and have them scratch proofed and tinted anyway you wanted and the new cost was only $149 plus the extra $25 for insurance. so I guess$175 might seem expensive to some but I already had mine replaced 3 times at $14.99(glasses cost) and still have another year left on guarantee. They even replace if you scratch the lense. By the way...LOL... The first replacement i did....was when the dogs chewed them to bits
