| Growling! Need help! My baby, Loli, turned 7 months old on the 9th of April. I am very concerned because lately she has been growling at us. The only time she does it is when she has something in her mouth that she is not supposed to have. I tell her to “let go” but she won’t. I am afraid the she might go after me but hasn’t as of yet. I need the help of all you experienced yorkie owners. What is a good training technique I can use when Loli has got a hold of something that she shouldn't have? Is it normal for her to growl? If not how do Istop her from doing it? Please! I need all the help I can get! She really is the sweetest baby. I just feel like I better get this under control now! Thanks for your help! | I would teach her the "drop it", command. Sit on the floor with her. Let her pick up a toy. Put a treat by her nose and say, "drop it". When she does give her a treat. Repeat this exercise a couple of times a day. Soon she will know "Drop it"! Pretty soon you can say drop it and she will.
