| Getting my wee man... The breeder rang earlier to say that the pup we wanted is available, so we are picking him up in 2 and half weeks. I really didnt think we were going to get him, as other people had first pick, but it was meant to be. And now there is the name. I have no idea what I want to call him. The breeder is calling him Timmy, and he is responding to it quite well, but I dont really like it. I dont want to get too excited about it. It will be a long few weeks. And it is still tinged with guilt about Millie.

| Congratulations on getting the pup you wanted! He will help with the grief of losing Millie... He will never replace her, but he will be good for you. I can't wait to see pictures! As for the name, I have a hard time naming animals until I meet them. Sorry I'm no help

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I a so happy you are getting "Timmy". Millie is smiling down on you kknowing your heartache will be eased a tiny bit with another baby to love. If you can decide on his name you could ask the breeder to start calling him that.

| Ahh, that's fantastic news. If you don't like the name, then hurry and give them the name of what you're going to be calling him. I got my little guy at 5 1/2 mos. His name was Jerry, I changed it to Fritz right away, and he caught on real quick. |

| I'm so happy that you've found a baby to give your heart to. He will help you in so many ways to heal. I understand about the guilt feelings, I had the same when we got Gracie Ruth so soon after Annie B passed on. But I know how much Annie loved me - and I her. She never liked seeing me sad, she'd always try to cheer me up, so I know she wouldn't want me to be sad because she had to leave. I tried to remember that if I was the one who had to leave, wouldn't I want Annie to be happy with a new Momma. I'm sure Millie would feel the same way. She will be watching over the two of you and will be so happy to see you being the good Mom that you are to another baby. As for a name, there are sooo many possibilities for boys. Think of a favorite place, food, famous person. When we got Yogi, there were so many possibilities. I love ice cream and thought Spumoni would be cute. My grandfather played a violin, so thought Stradivarius might work. My family is from Ireland, so Dublin was a possibility. But really when you already have a Boo (Boo-Boo), Yogi was the only true option. For those that don't remember or know of the Yogi Bear cartoon, his sidekick was named Boo-Boo. So very, very happy for you. Please post pictures when you can. I know it will be a long 2 weeks.
