| Yorkies and Rabbits Are Yorkies good with rabbits? I would like to get a rabbit but don't know if my Yorkie would like it or want to hunt it.

| Don't have any experience but I would imagine he would want to hunt it! LOL. I think it's a trainable issue though.

dusty is a lionhead, but he is small, about 2.3lbs or so. some rabbits can get big, (~12lbs for some) but all my rabbits are pretty small. the biggest one is about 4lbs.

I thought about Dusty while typing. My dogs will pounce on my cats....no way could I ever introduce a rabbit to them. Not to mention...I've seen what happens when they "meet" a rabbit in the yard.

| There are wild rabbits that visit our yard and Baxter goes nuts when he sees them. I would imagine it would be all about how you introduce them but I would be cautious. |

| I guess because most of us think of Bugs Bunny as a rabbit & when we see one that is so exotic...it just doesn't register..... *Note to self...get out in the world more often!!!! |

yea, i agree that not all dogs will LOVE bunnies like milu does. and not all dogs will let bunnies boss them around. some dogs do get hungry when they see furry cute bunnies hop around.
