I was going to post that link too. I have made a simple vest with that pattern with polar fleece and velcro, very easy and no sew. My only problem I had was trying to print the pattern... it kept printing a really small size one no matter which size I picked to print. I had to save the pattern first and then print it from the saved location for it to be the correct size, not sure if anyone else had that problem.

This might be a stupid question, but how do you attach the D ring to make into a harness vest?

Vest pattern ~ So simple!!! Cute!! I sewed the vest for our Yorkie/Chi mix (Chorkie) female Bitsy. Turned out so cute! Made it from denim material salvaged from old jeans and lined with white material. To attach the D ring, I took a short narrow length of denim and sewed along the edge and then turned it inside out. I then attached it to the vest putting the D ring just behind the shoulders securing in either side of the ring with bar tacks. She has worn it when on a leash since two months of age and is now 7 months which was made possible with the velcro closing. Possibilities endless with choices of material!!! Easy to attach lace for females as well as masculine touches for males.
