| Yorkies like people They act like children when they are puppies, and then like teenagers with attitude and then like seniors with bladder problems |

| Mine act like brother and sister, snuggling one minute and then barking at each other like "you touched me!" the next. They steal each others toys and make sure the other one knows to come and help bark at a dog passing by. They don't always follow the rules but yell at the other one if they break one (seriously!). They throw a fit when they are hungry or want water and cry when they want attention. Loki has the vocabulary of a 3 year old. Sammy has the ENERGY of a 3 year old. It's like having 2 toddlers, although at least they are potty trained

| Yep, I agree with Erin....it's definitely like having toddlers, especially when they're playing together. I seem to have spent the last few days saying, 'Calm down you two' and 'play nicely with it, or I'll take it away' a lot I have skinkids and furkids all looking at me and then at eachother, trying to work out who I'm talking to! xxx xx

| yes, I told DH it is like having two, 2-year olds in the house again....and I thought my parenting days were over. There are days when I think I am just too tired to "parent" but 3 seconds later I love the joy they bring to my house. the joy outweighs the exhaustion I feel sometimes "parenting" them

| oh my yes! My boys are almost just like having kids. well I dont have kids, but the only difference I see is that I can leave them home alone for awhile whereas you can't do that with a child. Thats about it. I take them when I can, I have to make sure I have a diaper bag with all their stuff. I need a sitter when I go away even for a night. You feed them and give them water, treats, hold them when they are scared, crying, overexcited, tell them to calm down, potty train them, play with them, bathe them, medicate them (frontline and heartguard), brush their hair, brush their teeth, one of mine even has to wear a diaper when we go to someone else's house! They have clothes, lifejackets, carriers, car seats, they teethe, they cry, take them to the doctors (vets) when they are sick, walk them everyday, new harnesses and leashes when they chew through them, wash their faces after they eat, protect them, scold them and cuddle them! Yup, almost like a kid!
