| I am so mad I took Lola and Pablo to the dog park today. We stayed about an hour. Pablo is a scaredy cat and stays by my side but today he ventured out to play with some of the dog but would come running back to me. Pablo is 2lb and 9 months old. Well, this lady came in just as I was getting ready to round them up and unleashed her Boston Terrier. I dont know if that dog sensed Pablo being a Chicken but the dog took off after my Pablo. Pablo ran so fast around and around, I was running and trying to get him and the dog was on his butt nipping and trying to bite. Lots of people standing but nobody would grab this Boston. Finally I managed to snatch up Pablo in my arms. Guys, his heart was racing and he was sooo scared. The owner grabbed her dog and said he has never acted like that before. I wanted to swear at her but I said in a mean tone "My dog could have had a heart attack and your dog does not belong with the small dogs. And with that I left all those fools. How dare her and the others sit and watch my baby hurting....How would you guys feel? Im so PO. |

| How scary for poor Pablo!!! I sure hope he's ok!! I would have been FURIOUS too!!! Something very similiar happened to us the other day....we hardly ever encounter dogs..here in Montana...but we were walking alongside the lake the other day...and a couple were approaching us...and they sat down on some benches holding their VERY large Black dogs close to them.....not sure what breed but they were HUGE...well as soon as we got close..getting ready to pass by...one of those FREAKING monsters pulled loose and was on top of me and my girls before I knew it....THANK GOODNESS he wasn't MEAN or my babies could have been really hurt.... I pulled both girls into my arms as quickly as I could before the dang thing could step on them...my Tulip is only 3 lbs!!! And Daizy is 6....and then I pushed that stupid Brute dog off of me with my knees.....finally the owner come over and pulled their dog back.......I must have looked PO"D because as I passed the ladies husband apologized quietly about the incident...I was so angry...but I told them ...."thank goodness that dog wasn't mean or my babies could have been really hurt!!! And that they need to keep a better grip on their dogs!!! " So unfortunately it has happened to alot of us!! I know EXACTLY how you feel....and your poor little guy even got BIT!!! OMG They are soooooooo lucky I wasn't there...they would have gotten the tongue lashing of their lives!!! Especially all those jerks just standing idly by while that is going on!!! Sorry that happened to you and Pablo!!! poor baby!

| Close one! Some owner are not responsible enough to have a pet. It was probably not the first time her dog show aggressively, she shouldn't of have let the dog off leash. Happy your dog is ok. |

| I am so glad your little Pablo is ok. It would make me pissed off too if all those people watched and did nothing about it! A much larger dog going after a tiny dog? That's WRONG! I am always nervous when I see big dogs and I have Suzi with me. It is very scary to think what they can do to our precious babies.

| Poor Pablo. I am glad he is OK. I would have been very angry too. And the nerve of everyone there to just stand and watch. Ugh! What is the world coming too??

| Because of the events you just described I would never let a 2 lb dog loose in a park with any other dogs. No way, accidents can happen in a split second and many people can't predict how their dog will act. I am just glad your baby is okay. As small as he is it would not take much for a bigger dog to really hurt him. Maybe the other dog thought your baby was a squirrel. I can't believe all the people just stood around and watched. Shame on them. |

| I am glad your little guy is okay, that would have made me really mad. The dog park I go to sometimes gets a "wild child" in the mix also and it is funny because all the Yorkie owners scoop up their dogs and usually someone will say something to the owner. I have found that the best time to go to my dog park is during the week in the afternoon or on weekends around Noon, not a lot of dogs there and it is easier to watch your dog. The one thing that will make me leave the dog park immediately, an owner who is not paying attention to their dog (usually standing along the fence talking on their cell phone) and their dog acting crazy. I realize in most cases the dog is just excited to see other "friends" but for a little dog the over friendliness can be a huge problem. Again, I am glad you were able to get your little boy up and out of harms way. Poor guy, he must of been really scared. I saw your post where you mentioned you also have a Westie, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Westie to go along with my Yorkie.
