YT 1000 Club Member | Used to get notifications by e-mail letting me know of replies to certain posts. I don't get them anymore. Is it just me or did YT stop doing this?

| When you open a thread to read, did you select Thread Tools & then Subsribe to This Thread from the pull-down-menu, or when you reply, Thread Subscription at the bottom under Additional Options?

| I get the notifications, but on my phone.. I didn't even know about it but they started coming in by the dozen. Is it some kind of option you can select in the control panel? |

| you know whats soooo funny??? I don't get notifications anymore, except for ONE thread titled "Whats the oddest thing your yorkies has ever pooped?" LOL So when I look at my email there is often 10 or more notifications and the subject line says "What is the oddest thing your yorkies has ever pooped?" LOL

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | When Yorkietalk experienced a glitch with the server awhile back, besides losing my account, they also, had trouble with a few other accounts, and some of them were set to different default settings. To change your settings on how you would like to be notified, go to "User CP" and choose "edit options." On this page you will see the words, "Messaging & Notification" and you have the option to receive e-mail or not. If you choose "Do not subscribe" instead of "no email subscription" you won't ever be notified of subscribed threads meaning that they won't even come up when you go to user "CP", so the best option to choose is "No email notification." Once you changed you settings, don’t' forget to save your new settings, and remember, only new posts will be affected, old subscriptions will still go to you e-mail, unless you individually choose to unsubscribe. That's why you are still getting the poopy emails. Also, you can individually subscribe to specific threads when you post, you will just be changing your default setting.
