| Leash Training? In another week we can start to take Sweet Pea outside for walks with her leash, so this week while we are inside i put the re-tractable leash on her all she wants to do is chew on it. Any suggestions???

| Try a short leash on a harness. Keep it vertical so it's difficult for her to reach. While holding it vertically try to attract her attention, & get her moving forward with a treat or squeaky toy. Could put bitter apple on the part of the leash she can reach. Could also take her to the PetSmart or Petco & see if there's a leash, e.g., small metal chain link, she doesn't have a chewing interest. Patience.

| If you wait until you walk her outside, she'll quickly lose interest in chewing the leash, but you'll have other issues.
