| What product do you use to keep hair out of your yorkies eyes?? Hi all.. My Tulips fur is seriously out of control... and it seems like it's always in her eyes...so I'm just curious if anyone out there has found a product or a way of keeping the hair on their yorkies face under control?

| Sorry I can't help you with that. I can't keep a bow in Abby's hair as it is thin and she shakes her head until it finally comes out. That's the problem I have. I do hope someone here can help you. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I need something too. Thor's whiskers are in that awkward phase, but if I put anything on them to let him see, he rubs his head against the rug until they stick back up again.

| LOL I don't have much problem keeping tulips hair on her head out of her face...I put it up in top knots....but her hair around her eyes...is continually getting in her eyes and causing them to tear up...So I was hoping to find out if someone uses like sculpting gel or (human hair products)or something like that to help hold it in place...

My furkids Donating Member | I have tried gel and a hair spray for dogs...(put on my finger then dabbed on the hair) NOTHING has worked...as much as I didn't want to, I had to trim the hair that sticks up in their eyes. Sadie doesn't have a nice coat, it is almost kinda coarse feeling. So...her hair doesn't lay flat around her face. I had to cut her's quite a bit. It really doesn't look bad at all...Lillie has a silkier coat that lays nice....I trimmed around her nose, where the hair sticks into her eyes, and you can't even tell.

| I also trim right around the eye. Their hair automatically goes right twords the eye! I have also used product to keep it down better. I think the trim works better.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I use Pet Silk Top Knot Gel, it works pretty well.Especially after a bath when the hair is very soft.I just put a little on the topknot hair and then gather it up and attach it with an elastic. |

| That's what I do. I can't stand the thought of hair in his little eyes, so I try to make sure that it doesn't poke him in the eye whenever he lets me. I use round snubby scissors and aim them down away from the eye. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I use the Petsilk topnot gel and it does work as best as anything else I've found. You can trim the hair but it's a continual battle then, whereas if you let it grow out, the hair will eventually lay down and not be such a problem.

| I just go with a puppy cut and use a little trimmer to shave right between her eyes. |
