| Oh no you didn't!! Trying not to take it personally... but last night after telling my 6 month old male (Sully) "NO!" for nipping at DH.... he sniffed around and then came over to me for what I thought was going to be an apology kiss... attempted to lift his leg and was I swear about to pee on me! What's up with that?! That is the FIRST time that he has EVER tried to do anything like that. He was neutered last week and his other not so nice habit is also doing the kicking thing with his back legs. I'm wondering if he's changed because of the neutering? Anyone else notice negative personality changes after neutering? |

Senior Yorkie Talker | hahahahahaha! Sorry........sorry......lol. Neutering usually has a calming after-affect. I don't know why he would try to p.p. on you, dog's do that to mark their territory.......well, maybe he was.......but still, dog's won't usually do that after being neutered..... As far as the nipping your husband, I'd try to put a stop to that immediatley before it gets out of hand. Good Luck.

| Oh my! I'm not sure if Hot Rod settled down after being neutered cause he's always been pretty laid back. He's not tried anything like that though.

| Thanks for the laugh. It reminded me of the time I came home from work & had to pee oh so BAD. Well I ran into the house without letting the cats out...Marshall (RIP) came in to the bathroom as I was sitting down & I explained the situation to him, just knowing he'd understand....yeah right, that little cretin turned around, lifted his tail & PEED ON MY LEG!!!! I about fell of the toilet, I was laughing so hard..... |

| I'm hoping it was just an isolated incident - I held him by the scruff of his neck and said "No" again and then immediately put him on the wee wee pad. He does seem a bit more mellow and doesn't pull on the leash any more outside - but it really just freaked me out that he tried to pee on me. Isn't that the ultimate insult in "doggy world"? DH thinks he's mad cause we got his "junk" removed. |

| And AND oh by the way....he won't let me put a bow in his hair either.... He said "isn't it enough that you had his "junk" removed....now you have to make him into a girly Metro-Sexual?" Men! Can't live with them.....Can't live with them. |

| Funny story! I got my boy when he was 3 and I had him neutered and I don't think his personality has changed. He has always been a lovebug and still is!

| Neutering I think he is telling you that he is mad at you. We had a dog neutered once and he was mad at us for 6 mos. We thought he would never get over it. |

| I made my teen-aged son take my Sam (RIP) to get neutered because I didn't want him to be mad at ME! |
