| Dog Agility Classes Wrigley will be coming up on a year soon (I read somewhere dogs shouldn't do agility classes until they are a year old) and he has sooo much energy and loves to run. Both outside, and sometimes he will randomly just start bolting around the house lol. So I thought we'd see if we can get him into some agility classes. Now how do I go about finding one? I did a quick google search but nothing really came up. Is there a website that has a list or something? Also how much do these classes usually cost? We are currently living in an apartment until this fall, so we don't have a yard to set anything up in. But we do have a large room we could use, it is probably at least 20x20. Should I just try to come up with some things on my own until we get a yard?

| Us Too! Look back a few pages to where I posted about it yesterday or the day before. There were some cute videos of a little Yorkie Eddie going through a home course and the class course. I just did a search for Agility class Atlanta and found some. If that doesn't work you can try dog training facilities. Welcome to USDAA should be able to tell you about local places if the search doesn't work. Good luck! We are really excited to get started.

| What are the prerequisites for agility work? What types of other classes help prepare a dog and owner for this?

| Not sure if you found the thread mentioned, it was buried pretty deep. Here it is anyway just in case. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-training.html

These are the ones I am looking at, they must have similar places in all states. The first one is further away and offers 6 Classes & 12 Practice Sessions for $190 - 10% SPECIAL discount= $171. The one that is close to me but won't return my calls or emails is $95 for 6 weeks. Atlanta Dog Agility Training http://www.thedogsplace.us/agility_classes.htm Be sure to ask if they allow toy breeds and how they accommodate them.
