| the groomer "nicked" bailee well i finally found a groomer that would let me stay while bailee was groomed. i come in and offer her shot record which they did not look at. I should have known better when they did that, I should have left right then, i feel like such a terrible mommy well they took her back and about halfway thru i heard a lil yelp so i jumped up to go make sure she was ok and thats when i saw the condition of the place...there was hair everywhere that looked lke it hadnt been cleaned in years there was palm olive detergent they washed the dogs with, there was a dog in the sink just left alone and i was in complete shock.then a pomeranian comes over and poos and pees in the floor!!!!!!I looked at bailee and saw the groomer was finishing up(good thing or I would have snatched her outta there so fast that groomers head would have spun) and when she brought her to m her face was bloody!!!!!! she is missing a chunk of her nose!!!!!!!!We immediately ran to the vet and becuz it is her nose, there is a good chance there will be a permanent scar. I did not pay but I think the $70 vet bill should be taken care of also...I am livid.I also feel sooo sooo sooo bad for taking her to this place...

| the vet said that due to how i described the condition of the place, she was worried of infection so she is on antibiotics every twelve hours for a week. also, since it was her nose,it is likely the black will never grow back and she will have a permanent little white spot...i feel so so so bad. i will try to post a pic when my bf gets home(his computer is easier to operate than mine)she is sleeping rite now, poor thing...

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | The face is the hardest thing to do if the dog is not used to it. They move alot and the scissors are SHARP. It's not uncommon to find alot of hair on the floor if they are busy, but the Palmolive is interesting.... I am so sorry this happened, poor thing. I stay with my Yorkie and everything is done where I can see it. Bath, cut you name it. You can send the vet bill to the groomer and see what happens, after all they are the ones who injured her requiring the vet visit.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Poor thing. It seems to me that if you sent the vet bill to them with a note they should pay you back. My girlfriend dropped her Charpei off for a bath and nail cut back, and his face and feet were bleeding...I found a wonderfull girl that works at Petsmart. She has such a good sence of humor and is very patient with my two. She always does them together.he blocks off 4 hours for them both. I've been very happy. I'm lucky. I've read some very disturbing things on here about groomers. Hugs to you Bailey and momma...don't beat yourself up. Hair on the floor is expected. The dish soap is a bit harsh,I could see baby shampoo. Good Luck,I hope it doesn't scar.

| OMG. I am so sorry. Poor baby. It's not your fault. How were you to know they would cut her nose. After hearing all these horror stories I am so scared to take Chloe to the groomers. I clip her ears and rear on my own but I need to learn to do it all on my own because it just worries me to take her now.

| The groomer should be responsible for the vet bill(s). Poor Bailee, now she's gonna have 'fear' of grooming. I'm a groomer, & I clean out my van (mobile) every night...can't stand the sight of dirty grooming shops...Hair does get everywhere tho & it's hard to clean every crack & crevice, esp when they're busy. Sometimes, we use Palmolive (very small amount & over rinse) to clean the paws of some very dirty, oily, soiled feet. It seems to be the only thing to completely clean them, other than cutting the hair off. Hope Bailee is doing better & don't get so upset (I would be furious) these babies can sense our emotions...Oh, & I've had dogs poo on my table! Seriously, they'll poo & pee @ the oddest times...but senior pets tend to poo when they're stressed.

| I'm so sorry this happened to your baby. Take a look at my album, the groomer hacked off a chunk of my babies ear Talk about being angry. What the heck. Hope your baby is going to be fine. Hugs!!
