Co-Ownership - Breeder or Broker? I often wondered why breeders would sell their dogs or puppies into co-ownership. Are these breeders protecting their lines or are they brokers hidden in disquise? What are your thoughts please?

Most of the people that do co-ownership are show breeders. You can hardly get one from without signing an agreemen t to let them co-own the dog.

Can you explain why you would think co-ownership would equal brokering? Brokers don't want to hang on to their dogs...they want to sell them and make a quick buck. Co-owning a dog is nothing like that...I just don't see the connection you're trying to make.

Wouldn't this belong in the breeder section?
