| After a family member, friend,or from t.v.: Just curious where did your furbabies names come from? I must say I've seen some unique names on here for furbabie's. So where did you get your babies names from, did you name them from a family member? A friend of yours? Or, from a t.v. person? Or from ex's??? One of mine furbaby name came from a hand lotion, and the other two, I just named..........Now you're turn too tell the story on how your furbabies got their name's..........

My beagle Abby.. my 7 year old daughter named her.. her full name is Abby bella ashley (or something like that..lol) she was 5 at the time. My toy poodle's full name is Lake Effect Lexee.. lake effect because we had gotten a ton of lake effect snow the week we picked her up and Lexee because I like the name. Tucker was named after a groomer that grooms snow mobile trails, my husband is the vice president of our local snowmobile club and thougth the name was very fitting, Tucker had his name not long after he was born.

| Our first yorkie is named Zorro because he is highwhite and has a black mask and he is a thief. He loves it to steal the socks from my husband and small tools and something more. He is very funny. Then came our second boy (halfbrother to Zorro) and I wanted him to call Rudi. He is very small and I thought he should have a funny name. But my husband decided he is a real fighter (not attacking others but he is acting like a big big dog) and named him Rambo. So we have a Zorro and a Rambo in the house. |

| Hot Rod was sort of named after hubby's hobby, a hot rod. We hadn't decided until he got a case of the zoomies and went tearing throught the house like a hot rod. Maggie came from wanting something to do with cars--mag wheels. lol. So we said Maggie and I have always like Maggie May together.

| Clareance was named by my Mum, Keegan (becasue we wanted a K sound) but his means, little firey one...perfect. Sophie...I don't know she's a rescue & her foster Mum named her...we didn't change it. Most of the time we call her Bean...cause she's long & skinny, like a string bean..& she hops around like a jumping bean! Not very exciting, eh? |

| My trixie already responded to the breeder when she called that name. I didn't want to change it not to confuse her.

| We thought about it for awhile because my sister said never pick out a name for someone until you've met them cause the name may not be a good fit. And it came to me in the shower. Amelia Ann..... Princess Millie suits her too. |

| I don't even like the move Finding Nemo but for some reason after I heard the name I wanted a Yorkie named Nemo. Even before I got my Nemo I had the Nintendo DS Nintendogs name and my Yorkie's name was Nemo....actually that Nemo listens better than my actual Nemo! |

| Well, S'anah's name is Scarlett Susanah Belle because it just FIT her so perfectly. Norman's name came because he looked at me and I knew instantly that was just his name...like it or not. I wanted something "southern" to go with S'anah's southern name so he became Sir Norman Jean-Nicolas Beauregard.

| We only had Jasper a few wks. When we decided to adopt him we thought long and hard on his name when we picked him up we were playing with him and I said he looked like a Jasper the breeder loved the name as did the kids. Then we got his paper work and his Dads name was Sir Tucker Bailey and his Moms name was Honey. So we named him Sir Jasper Bailey Huneykinz Braggs. When he does something bad I yell out Jasper Bailey we don't do that! Just as I would the kids with there middle names. Its funny cause just last night I didn't know where he was(he was in the kitchen)and I yelled out Jasper Bailey and he came a running. |

| Prince was named by my mom. It really fits him. He is treated like "royalty."
