| Puppy Hair I have to ask a question , I keep reading post about puppy hair! Lacis hair is kinda thick and fluffy I guess what is called a cottony coat.. underneith it all she is soo skinny I love he fluffy hair because she looks like a furball , but my question is , am I supposed to have this cut off or will it just grow out.. I want to grow her hair out I perfer the longer hair over short ?? Also another silly question.. those little hairs that grow like between her eyes, they look like they are kind of blocking her vision a bit, do I let those grow and put them in her top not or do those ones get cut? Im going to get her groomed in a few weeks as our weather is just starting to change! |

| Tobie is my first Yorkie but from what I understand all puppies coats are fluffy and cottony. I don't think you'll know what coat she has until it starts to grow out. Tobie's hair is starting to feel much softer and tangles less as it gets longer. You shouldn't need to cut her hair until you want to... it will grow out silver (or that's how Tobie's is) and eventually the black will all be cut off when you get her groomed. The hair on the head can be cut or grown out for a top knot, just whatever you prefer. I hope I got all of this right.. I have done so much reading about Yorkie grooming because I am new to their type of coats.

| How old is your baby? Tobie needs a trim so bad but I can't take him until I get his rabies vaccine which I heard you shouldn't get until AT LEAST 6 months. So it looks like Tobie won't be going to the groomer for another 2 months
