| The reason, I don't look at the Yorkies for Sale or Wanted Section... Is because, it scares me to go to the thread and scroll down.. I get my hopes up, and then when I get to the price it's always, $1200 or more. Then there's shipping to add, etc. Now I wait, for another furbaby to find me! Please pray!

| i am sorry i think $1200 is a good price for a healthy yorkie but i can understand that others might think that is high have you looked into rescues or adults? maybe a retired breeder? usually breeders place those for minimal costs - usually just to cover the vet expenses for spaying and everything

| I currently have 3 Biewers listed in the for sale section and I am willing to be flexible with my price for the right home...that's more important to me than the money. |

| Hon, when the time is right your new baby will find you. I know it's hard to have patience but one will come. Are you wanting a pup or have you looked at Rescues? Sometimes they are $200-$500 and already spayed/neutered and have their shots! Some are even potty trained already!!!! *hug* I won't have babies until probably fall time.

| I paid $800 for my Chester, in the middle of five months of being unemployed with no unemployment $, and he was worth every penny. I would NEVER buy a dog and have it shipped. That's just me though. When I went to see Chester for the first time, it was love at first sight. He picked me! It was awesome because he was everything I wanted in a dog-right color, right personality, the spunk, everything. A dog is an investment and you should choose your investments carefully. You will get way more enjoyment out of a dog than out of $1200. |

| I know it seems like a lot of money. There was a time I thought I would never pay that for a pet. But I paid $1200 for Ben and $1500 for Sadie. They are worth so much more. Think of all the love and enjoyment they bring! I tell myself that sale price is just the tip of the ice berg. Folks have to make sure they can afford the vet bills, have money stashed away for emergencies and the spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, well puppy check ups, licenses, registration, all the misc. accessories, quality pet food, treats, Heart worm meds, flea and tick meds, grooming tools and supplies for the daily grooming, shampoos, conditioners, detangler, grooming spray, eye wash, ear wash, pet wipes, toothbrush and paste for dogs, nail clippers or grinders, grooming fees for the every 4-6 weeks job or equipment to learn to do it yourself, beds, blankets, toys, harnesses, leashes, bowls, carriers, exercise pen, play yard, a gazillion pee pads, a pee pad holder, clothes if you want, books to learn about care of the breed, and the list goes on and on and on...... they are not cheap. Yorkies are high maintenance pets. But they are worth every penny and more. Hope you find the right one for you!
