| Hi and WELCOME TO YT!!! I have introduced my Yorkies from the time they were pups to a Chihuahua and a Boxer with no problems at all. Only you know your babies' personalities and have better insight into how they would handle a new, little one but we have never had any problems. Our Chi is a Diva who lives for her daddy's attention but she's never been a problem and our Boxer has always loved the Yorkies. As for advice on ANY questions you may have, just do a search here on the forum and you should find an answer for any questions you may have. If you don't find your answers, just ask. There are so many knowledgable, Yorkie lovers on here willing to help. Good luck!!

| Welcome to YT! Yorkies are fabulous - but they may not be for everyone. Please do your research. YT is a wealth of information, there is so much good information in the Stickies & in all the different forums.

BANNED! | Welcome to YT I agree with everyone else u should research on there personality and there needs and temperments I did that before i got both my baby's it is a honor owning a yorkie when i got my first one i feel inlove with him not only cause he was adorable but he was soo affectionate and loveable if i was sitting down and people came over he would sit on my lap for me to rub his tummy and he learned alot of tricks which made me proud that he wanted to learn and he understands. Yorkies can be ur best friend just like any dog but its the best to get ur self prepared before u settle down to just one... |

| My husband and I have a mini schnauzer as well as a yorkie. This is my husband's 2nd schnauzer. He loves the breed and I automatically knew why after Gracie had been in our family for a week. She is so good with Lola! I was a little uneasy about them when Lola was tiny. However, Gracie treated her like her own puppy. When we had guests we had to put Gracie in another room so Lola could socialize. Gracie was that protective! Lola can literally take things out of Gracie's mouth. If they have a rawhide Lola waltzes right up to Gracie and yanks it away. Gracie just walks off like nothing happened. Good luck with the research and finding your furbaby!!
