♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | do dogs have a sixth sense? Just wondering as my border collie Jessie had a second stroke this morning and Tia ,my furbaby doesnt want to leave her side. At lunch when I come home from work Tia always wants to play ball with me but today she wouldnt leave her big old sis. It was quite touching a little 9 mth pup watching over a 14 yr old dog.Anyone had similiar? Jessie.

| I hope Jessie feels better soon. How amazing that you're little baby stays with her. I think they do have a sixth sense. I'll keep her in my prayers. Please, let us know how she's doing.

| Ah, saying prayers for your baby. Yes, I do believe they have a 6th sense, and I also believe they see things we don't. When my dad had cancer and way dying, my grandmother and her dog had come up to stay and help Mom out. My grandmas dog was down in the game room and when my Dad died, her dog let out the most terrible howling sound. The other day, my youngest pup(9 1/2 mos) was barking and chasing something she saw out here in my family room. I had one dog laying by the back door and 2 on the couch, and she would watch something, then jump and growl, the her tail would go down like she was scared to death. Twice she backed in to the couch. She did this for a good 1/2 hour. All I can think of is she did this once before right after Moms dog died here 2 mos ago. ? |

| I hope your dog is going to be alright. I absolutely believe they do. My former bf was an epileptic. He had a big ugly mutt that wasn't smart enough to get out of the rain But baby would stop him right where he walked and stared him down. Refused to let him move. Sure enough, within minutes Sean would seize. She knew Sean was going to seize before he did. |

| Dogs also know way before we do about hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes. Our shih tzu always lets us know a couple hours before a storm is coming in |

| Absolutely, they have 6th sense! And it's about the good news as well as the bad. My Lola is better than any home pregnancy test! The only time she has gotten protective of me towards her brother is when I'm pregnant. She was acting weird again last week, and guess what! I'm pregnant again! |

| Hoping your baby gets well. I believe that dogs have a sixth sense. They will sense weather disturbances and I believe they know when there is some time of medical issue-be it animal or human related.

| I've heard of cancer sniffing dogs too. I think they can also see the paranormal. It's so sweet that she's with her sister! So sorry about Jessie...Poor baby!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm sorry to hear about Jessie's stroke and hoping she will make a full recovery! I do believe dogs have abilities we don't fully understand. The last year of our 14 year old blue heeler's (Patch) life she was blind and partially deaf. My son's younger lab (Dolly) would lead Patch around the yard. When storms were approaching and we would bring them inside, Dolly would wait for Patch, she wouldn't come in until Patch did.
