♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | I've been researching this lately because I will probably be flying from OK to Alaska (and back) this summer. From what I've seen, American seems to be pretty good about their carry on fees, etc. I believe is $100 ea. way (if you get your ticket before May 21st...after that it's $150 ea. way). Good luck and, I want to know about your experience if you don't mind sharing!!

| I won't fly with Bria till July so i won't be much help but when i did look around air tran is $69 both ways.(that's the cheapest i have seen this far) I'm not sure how "friendly" they are. but i do know that on all the airlines your baby has to go under the set.I have been reading up on the travel part of YT to get ideas.

| Pasquale and i have flown 4 times since i've gotten him 9 months ago. This friday we're flying down to florida again. Jetblue going down...Airtran coming back. Jetblue charges 100$ each way . And Airtran charges 69$ each way. So i paid 169$ for Pasquale. If they allowed me to buy a seat for him..i would..cause for my ticket it was only 200$! As far as "travel friendly"...it really depends on the crew and who likes dogs and who doesnt. I've had some really not so nice airlines crew....and then we've had some really wonderful ones that even wanted to hold Pasquale. But one thing you know for sure...you'll be happy having your baby with you!

♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | If you don't mind my asking, what service does Gracie provide (what kind of service animal is she?) I've been reading about this lately, and am very interested in it.

| I flew Northwest and it went good. It all depends on the attendants really. Some like the dogs and let you take them right out and sit on your lap and others will not let you take the bag out from under the seat.

| I prefer Alaska, but not sure if they have flights from GA. Be careful with Southwest Airlines. They do not accept any pets in cabin. Our friends bought tickets from that company for us, and I had to cancel it because of company rules. I cannot even imagine my baby will fly cargo. NOOOOO way.... BTW, I was told to put my dog under front seat every time when I tried to take her out to be on my lap. Seems like those attendants just not dog friendly people.... | Oh, I also would like to know if you don't mind... How can I get a "service animal" ID? I just would like to have one just to go everywhere with this "green pass". |

♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | Wouldn't we all! It's my understanding that it's not hard to get an ID, though you don't even need one, but you have to be disabled. Otherwise, it is definitely against the law!!! "Impersonating a disabled person" and "Impersonating a service animal" (or something like that ) are serious offenses! I know everyone would love to take their babies wherever they go without having to worry about getting caught....but if you aren't disabled, you'll still have to worry about getting caught, only it would be much much worse!!!

| BTW, Alaska charges per pet $100 one way for domestic flight. Used to be $75. Last time my ticket was $120 including all taxes both way. |
