| abbey's surgery well Abbey was spayed yesterday..picked her up at 4 with a collar! we kept her with us on a pillow in the evening..she was taken out to potty then back inside. She slept in a crate with soft blankets..awoke at 4am! took her potty then to our bed where we took the collar off so she could eat.put collar back on and put her in crate..the little bugger wiggled outa the collar! So I put a long puppy tshirt on her! she just had a nice lunch and is napping! she's suppose to wear the collar for 10 days but its staying off unless I see she's licking wound. gonna be hard having her remain quite as she's a active pup! |

| Glad to hear she's doing well. Yeah, those collars are hard to keep on these little Houdini's! Gracie never needed one. She didn't bother her stitches. Yogi is licking some, but not a lot. I think it's mostly just boredom licking. But keeping them quiet...well that's just near impossible. Although I have found when I put jammies with legs (not a nightshirt) on them, that neither one will move much. It's kind of like a doggie straight jacket.

| Try putting her in a baby's onesie. It worked well for Katy Lou. Tomorrow is Sophie Mae's scheduled spay. I plan on using the onesies again. They so hate those collars. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Glad she is doing well. I just kept mine in a baby onsie until they healed, it was much more comfortable for them.

| abbey so much for bragging! we have her in a big crate in our room..this am went to take her out and she was like a pin-ball!!!! racing all over! Needless to say she's not been confined today and done very well. Just take her out for potty and right back in....I dont have a onsie but a large puppy shirt that covers and shes not licking! |
