| Feeding 2x a day Question I'm going to start feeding my puppy two times a day and not leave it out all day. I'm hoping this will help with housebreaking. How long should I leave the food out for her to have an opportunity to eat it? I'm afraid she will be hungry the first few days because she is used to eating whenever she wants. Thanks in advance!

| What I did with Mandie, was fed her in the morning and she usually ate that right away, then took her outside about 5-10 minutes after she was done eating. Then b/c i was gone all day long i left a little bit of dry dog food and water in the kitchen and kept her in the kitchen. Then when we ate dinner around 6-6:30, i fed her again and did the same thing as the morning. It was harder to get her to eat her dinner b/c she wanted to play. So that I usually left down on the floor for about an hour or so. hope this helps....
