| Hyper Yorkie Hi, My little boy is 9 months old. He has been neutered, and gets plenty of exercise and play time. My problem is he is wearing me out. He never stops, he's into everything and when he isn't, he's growling and barking at me. He wants all of my attention all of the time. When do you think he will mellow out. Is there something I can do to calm him down a little bit. I've tried to train him but have had little success. He's just too hyperactive! |

Thor's Human Donating Member | How much exercise does he get, and what kind? I would probably try playing fetch with him for an extra half hour a day and see if that does the trick. You can get one of those throw-y thingies for more distance.

| I would give him a few more months. Leo used to be like that. I could take him for a mile walk and get back inside and he would still want to play. He is about 1 year and 3 months now and is starting to calm down. |

| Well like others have said....a WALK every day would help alot....My suggestion is one maybe you don't or can't do...but a "playmate" would Definately keep him occupied and busy...and he wouldn't be dependant upon you for ALL his entertainment! You could "adopt" a small dog...and you would not only be helping your busy busy little guy....but you would be saving a life!!!! Good luck...
