| I use a flea brush while I'm bathing my puppy. It clears out all the eye crusties, but makes it more gentle when his face is wet, so it does not pull the hair as much. But while bathing him, I try not to get soap on his face... In between baths, I just use a warm wet wash cloth to wipe his eyes with. I pretty much have to wipe his eyes twice a day.

| I use baby shampoo on my puppies faces. It is tearfree and gentle. I also found that an eyebrow comb works wonders on their faces. The ones with a small comb on one side and a brush on the other that comes with makeup brush kits. It is very small and when the hair is wet the crusties just slide off nicely in the comb. I usually wet the hair with cotton balls and then comb it out daily. |

| I suggest a pin brush (no balls at the tips) and a metal comb. I have a chris christensen pin brush. I also have a mason Pearson mixed bristle brush. It has boar hair bristles and makes their hair so shiny
