| Show Dogs? I have been looking to purchase a pup that is show quality/potential. I watch the dog show on TV but I am sure that it doesn't reveal all. I have a female that has come from a good line, although I am unsure of how to tell if it is an exceptable line to continue to breed her. She has had one litter of 4 and even though they all were cute; there were only two that I feel carried the looks of being possible show. I enjoy breeding, but want to breed for quality not quantity. It is tuff finding a pup that would be considered a good pup. I would also like to learn to show. If anyone can help me please do.

| AKC offers confimation classes to help you in the show ring. I would go to their website, as they also offer you free booklets on the rules of the show ring. I would suggest to just go and observe a show and talk with different ones they may offer you some help.

| Check www.YTCA.org for breeder referrals in your area and your local kennel club should have class info for handling. Good luck! |
