| How old was your pup when their coat started to change? My baby is 7 months old now, and I was wondering when I would start to see changes in his coat from black to gray/blue? We took Buddy to an obedience class on Monday and there was another Yorkie there that was 9 months with a coat that was already mostly gray/blue. Thanks! |

| Bella's hair started to grey very early, her hair is not fully grey tho, she is only 18 weeks old now but there are definate grey hairs all over her body. The grey started coming out when she was about two and a half months old!

| If he haven't start changing color at all by now it probably wont. By 10 weeks you can usually see the the root changing color. |

| Ginger started to change almost immediately from when we brought her home from the breeder. She was about 10 weeks old?? At first, we were sad she was graying, but now that I see how she looks now vs. younger, she looks so much better! Some puppies never change color. My inlaws have a yorkie with a black coat

| Mia is twelve weeks old now and has changed considerably since bringing her home from the breeder. We tease her all the time that I'm going to have to dye her grey roots next time I do my own

| SophieKate is 9 months old and her head has changed from Black to a lovely golden color with some silver. Her body is still all black, everyone tells me it will turn silver but I don't see it happening except for the random silver hair. I took her to the groomers on Saturday, I noticed her upper leg area is now showing some silver but still is mostly black. I kind of hope her back stays mostly black, I am not sure if that is the breed standard but I sure like it.

| My lil guy is 9mo (TODAY) his face is blonde/golden/grey. His back is BLACK. I hope he doesn't change anymore. I was very picky about choosing him to make sure he would mostly remain black. My first Yorkie, all black with gold face/limbs...LOVED IT

| My Chloe is only 2 1/2 months old and only the top of her head is changing, but it's turning silver. The rest of her body is still black/tan. |
