| The Hunte's Corp is the biggest puppy broker/ distributor in the USA. They buy pups from large volume commercial breeders and from backwoods/puppymill breeders. These pups windup in Pet Stores all over the US and in other countries. If the pet store refuses to take pups because of sickness etc.. Those pups are sold in Flea markets / Auctions. Pups are graded on a scale, such as registration, size ..etc. A pup with AKC registration net more then one registered ACA,APRI.CKC..etc. They are backed and funded by the USDA and backed by all registries including AKC. They also educate these breeders on how to pump out more pups to sale. This is why it's so important not to buy from a Pet Store, this cycle will not be broken until people stop or the law changes. If people would stop supporting and buying from Pet Stores that sale animals then there will no longer be a market for these Large Commercial /Mill breeders. |

| So once you have read that go on further and look at the Marketplace ottawadogblog.ca/tag/the-hunte-corporation and U can see the inside facilities and how the poor pups are handled. In 2006-08 their trucks were not ventilated and 100's of pups died. I'm trying to see what Canada has, so far I haven't found anything like Hunte, but I'm sure we have something like that. Where does Petland Canada get their puppies?

| PUPPY BROKERS! Run and run away fast! Of course they are a nice place because they don't keep the dogs there. Nope~they pack the poor puppies onto trucks and ship them all over the country. Some make it some do not. My son has a friend that worked at a large Nursery in our area and he said that the puppies that come in on these trucks are in horrible condition. They are very young, sick and sometimes dead and are tossed into the trash! This is what goes on behind the scenes at these pet shops. If people would only understand the trickle down of a puppy mill they would never step foot in a pet store again. This pet shop/nursery must be making BIG money off of these because they just added a HUGE addition with a grooming salon onto their store. I use to go in for gardening supplies and their would be people swarming around the puppies. Now I will not even give them a dime of my money.

| This is juist so sad, and the worst part is, they are approved by the government. USDA. I wish we could do something about categorizing dogs the same as cattle. Dogs are companion animals, they have totally different needs than cattle do. |
