| How old is he???? He might be teething. Chloe didn't want to eat and I hand fed her for a few days. I looked at her teeth and found out she was teething....

| Have you tried changing his food or adding some yogurt or cottage cheese to it so that it might entive him a bit? Is he losing weight? That would worry me alot if he kept refusing to eat. Has he been checked by a vet?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | How old is he and how much does he weight, have you thought about hypoglycemia? Yorkies can use up their energy reserves rather quickly and one of the symptoms of hypoglycemia is lose of appetite. Many people recommend free feeding for this reason. You need to be familiar with the signs of hypoglycemia of he's under 4 pounds, or less then 6 months. They also go through periods where food isn't very important to them, and if you give too much variety at this point the will become extremely picky. Toy Breed Hypoglycemia

| no he hasn't been check. I free feed him. His food and water bowl are always out. He rather eat things outside and vaccum the floor than eat his food. I have been able to get him to eat a few kibble off my hand. I mix nb turkey roll with his nb kibble. He is 7 months and 5lbs. It has been cold here lately at night. He sleeps right next to the fireplace at nite to keep him warm. I guess since it started getting cold at night here, he stopped eating. I thought maybe the floor was too cold for his feet so I move the food bowl to the living room..still refused to eat or go near food bowl. I hand feed him and he run from me too when he comes close and smell the food from my hand. Maybe he doesn't like the flavor anymore. |

| forgot to mention that the only thing he will eat is green bean. he eat them so fast. I only give him one green bean a day to help with anal gland and to add fiber. |

do you have any nutrical on hand?? if you give him just a little bit.. it will stimulate his appetite and make sure his blood sugar does not get too low! yogurt or cottage cheese is good! also.. scrambled egg whites, baby carrots, white rice and white meat chicken. you may want to try changing his diet... he may be a picky baby and not like what he is eating!? i have a picky one and one that will eat anything.. so.. maybe try a diet change?! also.. i would have him checked by a vet.. a bile acid test or a full blood panel done.. he could have an underlying issue to why he doesn't want to eat... and some of what you describe could be liver issues. so, just to be safe.. i would pay your vet a visit! good luck!

| If you don't have any Nutrical, you can use suryp or honey too.
